Since the title of my page is ‘Success starts right in the mind’, I thought I should start by explaining how Icame up with this title.
In December 2010, I was there in Manchester wondering what I would do now…
I had just graduated and I was unemployed. I was scanning through my emails when I came across a guy called Vic Johnson. He was giving away a book called ‘Think and Grow Rich’ for free. As a good unemployed person I jumped on the opportunity and tried to get the book. Unfortunately, since the guy’s company was in the US, I had to pay for the postage.
As most of you have always been told before by your parents, ‘NEVER give your card details to a stranger!!’, I also knew that and instantly closed the window. However, I was still perplex why he would be giving free books, I started doing some research about the book and discovered that most of the successful people in the world have actually read this book and have read it a DOZEN times!! Not wanting to be left out, I went onto Amazon and realised that the price was not that bad. I ordered the book and read it as soon as I got it through the post.
Even though that book was written in 1937, it is still very relevant to this day. It has actually changed my life and the way I think. On my first read I, I was only reading the words. At the end of my first read I felt I was already different but unfortunately I did not see many things happening after.
The reason for that was because I was not taking action and not doing what I was told to do in the book. In the meantime, I went to a seminar where the speaker was a real property investor and had a portfolio of £10,000,000. He was initially a market trader, selling fruits and vegetables in the market. He got out of debt and made millions in just 8 years. I realised how great my new book was when the guy showed us one of the copies of the book he had. The book was torn, with 4 different colours of pen everywhere. He told us that he had already read the book 5 times with each colour representing each time he read the book. From then one I decided that I had to do the same.
So coming back home, I immediately started my second read. I started taking some action and straight away I witnessed some changes in my life and since then many things have happened. Now I am on my third read and I have decided to note down some interesting quotes and share it with other people who are too lazy to read the book!:)
Here are some interesting quote:

7. Whatever THE MIND OF MAN can CONCEIVE and BELIEVE it can ACHIEVE!!
8. Wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does not recognise failure, will bring riches.
9. There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge.
10. Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.
11. Every man is what he is because of the dominating thoughts which permit to occupy his mind.
12. It has been said that man can create anything which he can imagine.
As you can see, most of the ideas presented are related to the mind and the way people think!!!
So that is why I believe that: Success starts right in the mind!!!!
From the small changes that I made in my life lately, I have already seen quite a few results.
I will write more on these small successes that I had in the past months later.
For the meantime get this book and start reading and even STUDYING it!!!:)
